Job Description This is a part time regular position.
SUMMARY:The Fitness Locker Room Atendant maintains front desk operations to maximize guest experience, profit line and employee relations. The Fitness Locker Room Attendantmust possess excellent customer service skills in order to provide the highest quality environment and an attention to detail to keep our fitness centers maintained to the Wild Dunes standard. The Fitness Locker Room Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

The Fitness Locker Room Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Essential job FUNCTIONS:
Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival
Maintains a safe and healthy exercise environment
Maintain the cleanliness of locker rooms which include the lockers, saunas, steam rooms, showers, restroom.
Maintain the cleanliness of the Fitness center; equipment, fixtures, headphones, keeping towels full, vacuuming/mopping floors as neccesary.
Stocking of all amenities throughout the day in locker areas and around fitness centers.
Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
Assists with the promotion of fitness services at member/guest orientations
Promotes fitness classes and services
Provides general resort information for guests
Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Wild Dunes Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
Resolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of manager
Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitudeDevelop action plans, based on unifocus scores, to improve guest experience
Communicates all pertinent information to the Sand and Sea Salon and Spa team
Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.
Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.
Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
eXPERIENCE & eDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year previous experience in a similar setting preferred
At least one year customer service experience required

Working CONDITIONS:
Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day, with intermittent periods of stair climbing
Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs on an occasional, repetitive basis
Must be able to twist, bend, kneel and squat frequently; crawl occasionally
Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements and simple grasping constantly; pushing & pulling, squeezing and overhead reaching frequently
Must be able to work outdoors, occasionally in extreme temperatures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
