The Lead Sprinter will act a lead agent/supervisor for the Resort Sprinter team.They will be required to ensure that daily tasks & requests are completed by all team members and attend meetings on the team s behalf.They will also be responsible for completing Sprinter training for any new hires as well as any ongoing training/coaching that needs to take place, with the support of the Guest Service Manager.This positionis responsible for responding to the needs of the Wendi Call Center as well as needs of management, front desk, dispatch and all Resort guests.The Lead Sprinter, like all Sprinters, is primarily responsible for transportation of guests throughout the Resort as needed and upkeep of assigned maintenance vehicles.This position responsible for helping with a wide variety of maintenance repairs of the highest quality referred to as Guest Requests / Tier One Maintenance Calls .Additionally, attendant is responsible for helping with requests for housekeeping item deliveries with the same level of service.This position requires extensive guest contact; the service and attitude must be of the highest standards, quality and professionalism. This position is empowered to exceed expectations and provide a solution to any challenge the guest may encounter doing their stay, which will promote return visits and build brand recognition.
Essential job FUNCTIONS:
Represent the Sprinter team as the main contact (lead associate) for all requests
Review daily sprinter tasks sheet to ensure all items have been completed & projects are up-to-date
Attend meetings on an as-needed basis as the representative of the Sprinter team
Participate in facilitation of additional tasks for team members during down time
Train all new Sprinter associates on daily tasks, responsibilities, and upkeep of supplies
Help with Guest Requests as assigned by the Resort Ambassador, Call Center, or Dispatcher.
Assist guest s into their accommodations
Provide transportation for resort guests
Replace light bulbs
Inspect facilities for light bulb outages, or any similar unit condition concerns.
Replace light switch and outlet covers
Troubleshoot guest TV difficulties
Plunge toilets and sinks
Tighten door knobs
Deodorize accommodation s
Deliver linens
Inspect accommodation s to ensure that have been cleaned to the Wild Dunes standard.
Strip units of used linen
Secure accommodation s
Empty resort Recycling
Track calls in Servidyne by: room number; time the request was received; response time and completion time.
Communicatethe above criteria to the dispatch upon completion.
Always clean up after each task; never leave a mess for housekeeping to clean up.
Report any unsafe condition to your manager immediately
Support and insure compliance with all policies and procedures as designated by Wild Dunes Resort.
Track all associated inventory and maintain establishedinventory level.
Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment
Responsible for delivery of requested guest items
Keeps van/houseman vehicles stocked and orderly at all times
Responds to any applicable guest, front desk or housekeeping request as needed
Receives and stores incoming freight accurately and promptly
Maintains effective organization, layout, cleanliness, security, upkeep and maintenance of all storage closets and facilities
Keeps accurate and legible records of all services
Provides accurate key control and effective security for all keys, buildings and vehicles
Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment in the housekeeping department
Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied spaces. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.
Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).
Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Wild Dunes Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
Communicates all pertinent information to the housekeeping team
Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms
Attends appropriate resort, division and department meetings
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.
Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.
Required Qualifications
Job REQUIRMENTS:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must have valid South Carolina Driver s license and meet resort driving standards
Must be able to drive guests safely in extreme weather conditions (rain, wind, fog)
Must understand the usage of hand tools and some power tools.
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly detailed orientated
Basic mathematical skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Working CONDITIONS:
Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance;
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally.
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat);
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
