This is a Full Time Seasonal position from April - October 31, 2014.
SUMMARY: _ _The Vacation Rental Sales and Marketing Assistant primary function, is to generate revenue through sales leads produced though online vacation rental site and property website. This position will as be responsible for maintaining the online representation of the units on multiple sites, by updating content, photography, and visual descriptions. This position reports directly to the Revenue Manager for Property Management however; serve as sales support for the resorts Revenue, and Marketing teams. This is a commissionable inside sales aspect of this position.

The Vacation Rental Sales and Marketing Assistantshall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

# Essential job FUNCTIONS:
Vacation Rental Revenue Generation and Optimization
Actively engage in sales of vacation and long term rentals through enhanced marketing program; assisting in the achievement of monthly room revenue budget goals. This is done via online rental submission forms and/or phone calls.
Assist Revenue Manager and DORO with daily duties and reporting functions.
Monitor and assure proper functionality between all online systems interfaces
Primary responsibility to oversee all administrative functions for the resorts privately owned homes and villas between; Reservations PMS System, Vacation Rental Sites, Property Website and Internal documents
Ensure all enhanced marketing program leads are managed effectively to maintain conversion ratio at rate agreed upon by individual agent and revenue manager.
Marketing

Must be proficient in all basic aspects of photography and be able to demonstrate proficiency through portfolio.
Working knowledge of InDesign to create and resize floor plans for vacation rentals
Must have copywriting abilities
Create CD's of images based on homeowner requests
Coordinate updates, changes and additions between several departments and vendors
Auditing vacation rental description content to assure consistency between Vacation Rental sites and the resort website. This will include written copy, photographs, availability calendars, and rate parity.
Reservations
Assisting with daily administrative duties; including preparing guests communications, reporting, and office responsibilities.
Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
Attend all monthly and required resort meetings
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.
Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.
Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
# eXPERIENCE & eDUCATION:
Bachelor degree required or two+ years experience in the pertinent departments, Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, inside sales, outside sales and/or guest services.
Prefer a background in Marketing, Communications, Sales or Business (Graphic Design education/course work and photography education/coursework preferred)
Prior hospitality experience preferred
Springer-Miller experience preferred
Job REQUIRMENTS:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
Must have excellent phone etiquette
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have strong computer skills
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be highly detailed orientated
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must have excellent listening skills
Ability to multi-task
Must have high level of sales acumen and be proficient in several tactics to effectively take sales lead from inquiry to closing.
Must be able to work well under in a deadline oriented environment
Must possess ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Must have excellent writing and proofreading skills
Photoshop skills needed.
Architectural shots needed in portfolio, interior and exterior examples.
Must have working knowledge of basic graphic design programs such as - InDesign
Understanding of consumer websites and daily functions.
Must be able to use systems to upload information and images to our property website.
Must have the ability to comfortably communicate to managers / directors of daily happenings
Good interpersonal skills

Must always ensure a teamwork environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates

Working CONDITIONS:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.

While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, fog, heat).
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, fog, heat).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
