Product Welding Advisor

Responsibilities o Maintains current standards and interpretations of all butt fusion welding procedures including DVS 2207-1 & ASTM F2620.
o Maintains current procedures for all Electrofusion (EF), Extrusion, Butt Fusion Welding and Wedge Welding of geomembrane.
o Maintains current training information (approved by AGRU Austria) for all welding methods.
o Provides certified training for all customer's technicians welding methods, both field training and in the AGRU shop training.
o Maintains training records of all trainees and their certifications.
o Maintains all welding equipment with proper calibration and certification.
o Oversees pipe, geosynthetics and other projects as directed that require welding with AGRU.
o Prepares rental welding equipment for shipping to a jobsite.
o Receives rental welding equipment from the jobsite, cleans, repairs, and calibrates the equipment.
o Travel 50-75%.
Qualifications o Must possess a valid U.
S.
Passport.
o Strong teaching and mentoring skills.
o Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills o Strong computer skills.
o Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
o High School diploma / GED, required o Must possess welding certificate.
o Certified HDPE welder (preferred).
o 2
years of experience in a skilled trade (e.
g.
steel welding, automotive, etc.
) or equivalent education from a technical college o Certified Electrofusion Welder for HDPE Pipe Couplers and Saddles in PE4710 and/or PE100 (preferred).
o Experience with teaching and mentoring new and experienced employees.
o Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Preferred.

o The 1st of the month following your 90th day of employment, you will be eligible to enroll in our 401k plan offered thru John Hancock.
