com (843) 886-5187 SELECTIONS COORDINATOR Job Description Assist management and clients in coordinating and facilitating non-jobsite construction processes.
To include selections coordination, timeline adherence, managing client communications with critical professional contacts, product evaluation and selection, monitor and advise clients and management regarding line-item budgets compared to projected/actual costs based on selections, and assist with basic company operational needs as necessary.
Focus To streamline, maintain, and perform functions essential to supporting communications and relationships between clients, architects, interior designers, vendors, and company management.
Assist clients in navigating the various decisions in the construction of their home.
Priorities include, but not limited to Assisting/coordinating with clients and vendors regarding selections, selection timelines, status of orders, facilitating appointments, etc.
Maintaining entries in Buildertrend and Drop Box to facilitate providing information to clients.
Assist with simple takeoffs, material orders, product research and product cost.
Sourcing products and materials.
Communicate and coordinate with company management on a regular basis.
Able to work with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, architects, and interior designers in regard to selections.
Required knowledge and skills - Competent with Word, Excel, and Drop Box.
Familiarity with Buildertrend a plus.
- Capable of reading plans and specifications.
- Basic understanding of the construction process, materials, and terminology.
Personal strengths - Organized - Good social skills - Able to communicate effectively - Comfortable interacting with clients and prospective clients with high expectations.
Work environment Most work will be in an office environment, however periodic visits to job sites and vendors will be necessary.
